Car Plays – December 3, 2022
Car Plays is an anthology of short plays that are performed in the front seats of different cars while the audience members sit in the back seats. Ranging from light and comedic to somber and serious, these plays are written and performed by learners at the Pacific School of Innovation and Inquiry, under the guidance of Devin Hawthorne, a 4th year student in Music Education at the University of Victoria.
Written and performed by PSII learners Car Plays will be performed at Campus Acura Victoria, located at 3347 Oak St. Campus Acura Victoria is generously providing both the vehicles and the location for this performance, and we are thrilled to be working with them.
The show is composed of 6 short plays. THe plays are performed in the front seats, and audience members will rotate through the cars in groups of up to 5. With a total of three runs planned, audience memebers will have a choice of 12, 1 or 2:30 pm for seating times. Each run lasts approximately 35 minutes.
